Dem Armonie del Sonno’s commitment to adopting increasingly sustainable materials has led to the choice of Recycled® fabric. This fabric is crafted from a low-impact, high-quality yarn and is a unique blend of sustainable cellulosic fibers.
The majority of the yarn consists of Lenzing’s Tencel™ Lyocell, combined with hemp and recycled cotton. Tencel™ is produced from wood sourced from sustainable forests and is recognized as one of the most eco-friendly textile fibers due to its closed-loop production process. Hemp fibers lend the fabric a more natural, lightweight, and breathable quality. Cultivated ecologically in Belgium, hemp requires no pesticides, uses significantly less water than cotton, and replenishes soil nutrients after harvest.
In addition to these two sustainable raw materials, Recycled® fabric incorporates pre-consumer textile waste, recycling it into the production process. Recycled cotton fibers also add a unique touch of color to the fabric.
Both the padding and fabric used in the Recycled® line are GRS-certified, ensuring compliance with global recycling standards.
