Nativa Silk is the innovative padding made from 100% recycled silk that regulates body temperature, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Silk has the ability to absorb moisture, making it particularly comfortable in warm temperatures, while its low thermal conductivity retains body heat during colder months. The silk used in Nativa Silk padding, with its smooth and soft texture, comes from pre-consumer waste generated during yarn processing. This waste is recovered and reprocessed to produce a luminous and shiny fiber, which is blended with certified GRS recycled polyester flakes. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS), promoted by Textile Exchange, certifies products containing recycled materials, supporting recycling and sustainability in the textile industry. This standard encourages the reduction of resource use, such as virgin raw materials, water, and energy, while simultaneously improving the quality of recycled products.
